What makes me adore Bette aside from her talent is he personality, the woman behind the actress, after I read “The Lonely Life” she was so determined, confident, wise, smart, intelligent, ahead of her time and extremely honest, she was a great woman who inspired many and still inspires me in many ways, you see she wasn’t afraid to speak her mind, being honest is one of her greatest qualities, yes she had a big ego, and many flaws, but I love her with them too, when you like a movie star you need to appreciate their flaws and accept them, Bette isn’t flawless, I don’t worship or approve of everything she ever did, but her qualities overshadow the flaws, she is Bette Davis, the actress, the badass, the woman who wasn’t afraid to quit the studio system and sue them, even if she lost and ended up broke without a penny, she started all over again, she became the biggest actress Warner had, she wasn’t afraid to play any role, she wasn’t the most beautiful either, she did what she pleased without answering to anyone.
